Is shopping through HopeHub secure?
Yes. Although you start your shopping through links on the HopeHub site, you will be shopping at the store's regular online shop and each of our stores use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt your personal information.
Do I have to shop through links on HopeHub.com for my charity to receive a donation?
Yes. In order for your cause to receive a donation for your purchase, you must begin your shopping through links on the HopeHub.com site.
How much money does my cause receive from my purchase?
Depending on which partner store you choose, 3% to 12% of the purchase price will be donated to the cause of your choice.
When will my cause receive the money from my purchase?
Payment to the causes occur monthly after payment is received from our partner stores.
Is there a minimum donation the cause must receive before a check will be sent?
Yes. Checks are sent to causes once the cause has accumulated at least $25 in donations during a month. If a cause has less than $25 at the end of the month, the funds will carry over each month until $25 accrues to that cause.
Which causes may I support?
Any cause you choose, as long as the cause is located in the United States and is engaged in legal activities for public good. For example, the American Heart Association, a cancer research fund, your child's soccer team, a local animal shelter, a food bank or a fund set up to assist a local child in need of healthcare. We do not require that the cause be a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
May I support more than one cause?
Yes, you may support as many causes as you'd like and may change the cause you wish to support at any time. However, you may only support one cause per purchase.
How do I know money has been sent to my cause?
We keep records of every check we send. If you'd like to see a copy, please send us a request by email with the name of the cause, and we'll email a copy to you.
What if I have a problem with my order?
All orders are handled exclusively by our partner stores. Therefore, if any problems arise with your order, please contact the customer service department of the applicable store for assistance.
Will I pay more for products when I shop through links at HopeHub?
No. You will pay the same price for any purchase you make through our links as you would if you went to the store's site directly to shop.
Do I have to be a member to shop through HopeHub.com?
No, you do not need to be a member to shop through HopeHub.com. Anyone can shop, and it is always free.
